Is it worth it to wait for windows 8 or should i just by the wikndows 7 version ?

It won't make much of a different when the device is mainly used for HIP.

Hi Dominic...I think you may be the best to answer this..so I'll put it on the board in case anyone else has the same question.  Ive pretty much checked-out most of the slate/tablet options out there.  Strongly leaning towards CTL2go.  I did call CTL (very pleasant)...but I received two different answers.  It was regarding the native resolution...are their tablets 1024x600  or 1366x768.   Tech support said they are both and you can change it(doesn't sound right to me...native is always crisper, whatever it may be).  So I called back...The sales guy said "no"...it's one or the other; the old NL2's left in stock are 1024 x 600, and the new NL3 is 1366x768.

So my question is... would HIP work better on the 1024 x600 so fonts are a bit larger...or would I better waiting till they get NL3 with the 1366 x 768?  Remember...Im in my 40's now s:)  This unit will be pretty much dedicated to HIP and some web browsing.

Go for the NL3. The higher resolution will work a little better with HIP. There's a W7 option to increase font size while still keeping the resolution so you'll be good to go there. There are 2 different resolutions for the NL2 and NL3 so the 2nd person sound correct.

Thanks Dominic..That sounds good.  I didnt think of the W7 option for font size..my kids have the good computers, and I'm still on XP!

Time to upgrade!
