Is it possible to send an email to 20 people or what ever, but have each recipient only see his or her name as the recipient? It has the appearance of being a personal email instead of an email to a group. I tried Bcc but then no one sees a name.
Thanks. |

If you send via BCC they do see their own name.

I did not know that you cannot send out emails without a unsubscribe or a way to let people opt out of getting the emails I sent out telling people about my website. I was unaware of the can spam act. I have sent out quite a few emails regarding my site to some realtors that we obtained emails for and not from any lists or snything but from cards and contacts. I read this act and I met all the criteria on it except that one and not providing my business address. I was just curious what kind of recourse is there for something like this. I am not trying to sell them on a home inspection just let them know our website is up and running. Is this the same thing as spamming if those things are not on the emails. If I would have known I would have put the info in the emails. I would just like to know if you have any info if their are complaints on what these divisions of government go on for punishment. Hi Fred,
Nothing's going to happen to you unless you're sending out millions of emails. Send out thousands and you'll get your site banned from sending to ISP's or ever our server. Just make sure to include it on future emails. |

You are one in a million buddy. For some reason I just can trust in you to give me advice on computers. No one could give me a straight answer on the subject. And low and behold Dom to the rescue. I will be sending it out properly from now on. These are things normal everyday peopel do not know. Fred |
