Average has been 10" over the year. It also weighs about a bit more than the 10" ctl2go. On the CTL2Go, did you try decreasing the resolution? It makes everything larger. I have been using a Lifebook 4215 for the past 4 years. It was a bit expensive but it has been flawless.

As Dom says,it is a bit bigger than others out there but it has a CD burner in it. I like that cause I can burn a CD with report and photos on site. Don't have to carry a external burner in my kit bag.
