I have a laptop with a wireless router and using NETGEAR wireless USB connector.
Mostly using Firefox to access the internet. All of a sudden I cannot reach a single website. Get the timeout page- this is now day 3 of unable to connect The info on the wireless connection says it is connected the the router, get IP address, signal strength etc. Any ideas? Oh, I tried to use IE and get the same result-nada |

What IP address are you getting? Click Start->Run, type in CMD and hit enter, then type in ipconfig and hit enter to find out.

If in doubt power it off.
All fixed now. Don't know why I had a brain freeze and didn't turn off and reset the wireless router before now. Guess I just needed the Telekinetic Dominic connection to see the light |

Hey Jeff,
Hit the sack around 4am, was trying to catch up. That IP address was definitely given out by your router which meant you had a good connection to the router. In which case you did exactly what you should have, reboot the router |
