TOPIC: Open Office

Hey Dominic, I just downloaded Open Office and started playing with it. I also know you use it. It looks like it is written in Java Script. If I send files to people who do not have open office can they open and view them? If I dump my Word and Excel, will I still be able to open word files with Open Office?

It's written in Java, just like HIP. (javascript is just for websites).

If you need to send a file to someone with Office, just save it as an Office file When you click Save As, Microsoft Word or Excel, etc is an option. Yes Open Office opens ALL Word & Excel documents thought you might see a few minor adjustments in it's appearance.
