TOPIC: Access pictures from individual sections

I have a feature request that others may find useful also. I take quite a lot of picture during my inspection. Currently If I want to change a caption, or change whether is shows in the summary or not. I have to go hunt through 30+ tabs of pictures to find that one picture I am looking for. I have to do this 3-4 time per report. When I am in a section in HIP I can see the pictures over on the right, but cannot do anything with those. It would be great if we could double click those pictures over on the right and it will bring up the picture editor available in the photo's tab, plus have to ability to change whether it shows in summary in this editor and the ability to change the photo caption. This would keep me and other heavy picture takers from spending a good deal of the inspection report writing tabbing through the picture tabs searching for a specific picture.

In addition it would be great if in the mobile app you have the ability to make that picture show in summary instead of having to go through all your pics in the computer and tagging the summary there.

Hi Steven, the ability to direct link from the individual sections has been discussed a few times on the forum and is high on the to-do list.

This is one of my biggest time robbers when proofing report. This would save me 10-20 minutes when proofing , particularly large reports.

How about this, if there was a link from the report PDF back to the photo. I find myself going through the PDF report and wanting to correct/drop a photo and spend quite a bit of time tabbing through all the photos in HIP to find the one in question.

It would be better in the photo section to have in addition a Photo proof sheet which shows all photos and them be clickable to edit.

Linking from a PDF back to the software is impossible (not something PDF allows). We're adding the ability to link from the individual items themselves back to the photo section to speed things up.
