TOPIC: Saving Inspections on OSX

Saving Inspections on OSX 9 years 11 months ago #59809

When saving an inspection on v4.8, when you save, HIP asks if you want to overwrite the existing file every time! This never happened in V3.  Very frustrating.

Any chance of a fix in this in a future point update?

Hi Lance,

Did you open up a previous inspection or is this when starting a new inspection and just clicking save?

Dom,

I am sure he is referring to the act of saving within an inspection. Since our emails regarding Yosemite stability issues, I save very frequently for fear of losing work. I get that message each time I save. Each save also kicks the program back to the Client Info page vs. just continuing on in whatever section we were working on. Thanks.

Sorry Dom i replied within the email and not on this post.

Yes as Steve says above.

From within the inspection even though you have already saved.

Okay, I'll take a look. Once the inspection is tagged with the same name it shouldn't ask again.
