HIP 4 Glossary 10 years 2 months ago #59024

How does this feature work. I see where I can add glossary items but when I Generate report I don't see the words highlighted in the report or definition at the end of the report.

Did you have any words in the report that were in the glossary? If so, click Print Settings and make sure the section is enabled.

Works great. Really like. I highlighted yellow the glossary words. It is a little over powering when the word gets highlighted several times. I'm experimenting with the different formations.

How are others using this feature and what formatting options do you like best (e.g. underline, no underline, highlighted color, ........).

Don't forget you can set it to only appear the first time the word is used as well. I'm glad you're liking it!!

Thanks for the post John, karma for you!!
I just updated to the 4.0 and was working with the glossary.

How About PSI -

How about this definition
Pounds per square inch, or psi, is the English unit of measure for pressure. The pound serves as the measure of weight or force, and the square inch is a measure of area. Therefore, psi measures the amount of force in a given area, and force and area have an inverse relationship---as the force increases, pressure increases, whereas as the area increases, pressure decreases.

R value would also be good for glossary.
GEC - Grounding electrode conductor
HVAC
I think I am liking this update.
What about a Reference section for illustrations?
