I am noticing that in the observations section (damage panels) of my customized template do not display all the same way. Some of them show truncated observations ending in.... and when moused over, the entire text is shown and there is scrolling down and sometimes over. Other panels (damage) in the same custom template but under another header will show all of the observation texting but be in several vertical columns where one needs to scroll sideways to see them all. Is there a way that all observations in all damage panels and even other panels can have the texting in one column, truncating to ... is o.k., but all one needs to do is scroll down and not have several columns that one needs to scroll down and over?

Hi Robert,
You shouldn't have any panels where you have to scroll down. They should all be scrolling over where a single click gives you the entire next column of items. If you're getting a scroll down can you let me know what resolution you're using and what type of page it is (1 selections/1 damage, or 2 damage panels, etc). We are implementing a method right now where you can choose on each panel how many columns you want to be visible at once. Some guys want to see 3 columns with only the beginning of each comment, some want to see 1 column and just scroll over. Soon this will be up to you to choose on a per panel basis. |
