TOPIC: Some more "might wants"

I've seen quite a few guys uses dashes as separators. We could add a real horizontal line, I'd have to look into that.

You are correct with the selection panels, you change all of their colors to the same. I'll be looking into changing that though. My main focus right now though is getting the new filmstrip feature going, adding progress bars to the report upload and integrating credit card payments into the report hosting. All in time. Thanks for the great ideas. Hopefully other guys will continue to discuss these.

Here is another:  It would be nice to have a selection under the file header to start a new report with a new client.  In this way, one would not have to close out of the program and then reopen to start a new inspection.  I am one of those guys who just leaves the program open all of the time and just wants to start a new inspection on the fly.

We've considered this a few times in the past. Because so many guys are still using old 1 ghz tablets we've left the feature out. I'm not sure on the Mac end, but on Windows, when a program uses up ram it can never give it back to the system to use until the program is closed. Because of this the longer you use a program, the more memory that will be used (in general). Because of this we'd rather guys close the program out and restart it to start on a new inspection. That way they are releasing all the resources back to the system.

We've actually made a lot of improvements over the last 6 months that have heavily optimized the usage of the program. It uses up about 1/5 the ram that it used to, especially when importing massive amounts of photos. Because of this, it might be something to look into again. Basically starting a new job would just be opening a new template and clearing out the photos. I'll add it to the list of items to check out.

New suggestion??

I use the circles in photo edit quite a bit but would like to have ovals as well. 
Is there a way to make the circles so one can change it to an oval like I do in other programs such as whisper image edit lite?

We could add ovals in. Out of curiosity, how does an oval help more than a circle or rectangle?

Personal preference but I suppose, but I think it looks better on certain types of photos.
