I second this request big time, and am surprised no one else has yet...at least on this thread. By "text and font" settings, I mean the background color, too.

I might could live with the bright yellow arrows, circles, squares, etc., but it would be nice to save those settings as well.

If I was from Michigan, I probably wouldn't mind the default colors....
