TOPIC: Home Inspector Pro Beta 3.5 Released!

Is there a Mac version yet to import/merge reports? I have used on the Windows version, but have had issue with my PC laptop and have been using a Mac version, but there  is no merge option under file.

The merge has been added but isn't released yet as we were working on several other new features. My hope is to get a new Windows & Mac version out in the next week.

Great keep me posted. I have had to give up the ghost on my PC and I am tired of the issues. I am looking forward to the new version. Does it fix the issues of crashing the Mac if you quit HIP instead of closing it by hitting the red X?

Forgive the rudimentary description, I have to explain things to lay people for a living.

The quit command issue is a bug with Apple and Java which they haven't fixed even though it's existed for years. Exit file the red X or File->Exit and everything saves and exits normally.

Any update on the Mac version update. I am sure that you have been very busy. I have used the merge version well on the windows version, but since the current mac version does not support the import/merge function if limits me to doing the entire report on the laptop. It would be great to be able to do most of it on the mobile device and finish it on the mac. Do you have an eta of the release or is there a beta version that I can try out?

We'll have the beta shortly. I've been holding out on the Mac version as we've been trying to merge the 32 and 64 bit version as 10.8 created a big problem with this for us. That and some really cool new features coming out. We might have to just split the two versions up again though to get it out sooner.
