Missing out on all the excitement on merging reports.
I never merged or even thought about merging reports before and I can't see the benefit of using two / three different computers or tablets to produce one report. What benefits am I missing out on? |

If you use mobile it will become clear.
I might experiment with variations not even thought of yet. Guys working in teams will get enormous benefit. As for me I might try looking at normal photos and doing the report on mobile to see which is better . That search as you type is cool on mobile. This allows me to mix and match pre canned comments from different sections as well if it is what I am reading here. Peter not all updates are for everyone so it depends on your style. |

I am currently writing a report that I worked the job with another company who uses home inspector Pro. I can do my report, and he can finalize his and submit it.
If you ever prepared part of your inspection report information before you left for the job and use home inspector Pro mobile, but like many of us end up not completing the entire report on site, you can simply merge the report. There are reports that have the same information, but that information doesn't work in a document. It might change. Instead of opening a template and beginning from scratch, you can have a report that has the same stuff time and time again that you must click on already clicked upon. You can now merge the two reports (one partially completed on-site with one that has redundant information already filled out). There's lots of options. I might do a home inspection report that has a lot of infrared thermal imaging problems and I can combine the home inspection report with my thermal imaging report template without having to use a PDF editor. ever write a report and find your using the wrong template part way through? :-0 |

I use the exact same template for buildings, condos, and homes.
Just a matter of checking or unchecking a few sections such as common areas. |
