I've noticed the drop down button for captions will automatically erase your current caption if you accidentally select it. I've noticed it because I've been accidentally hitting it a lot lately and rewriting my captions, my click-to-target-hit ratio isn't always very good. I think my mouse is posessed.
Could the button be set up to just select the contents of the caption field instead so they are only delete/replaced if you type or select a caption from the drop down? Also I've been having a bad spelling month aparently ??? and this has led me to try and use the spellcheck lists which appear when you right click a misspelled word in you comment window. Well... they don't always appear. Sometimes I have to do a dance and sacrifice a chicken to the right-click gods for that dumb list to open. Most of the time I get the Copy-Paste-Cut menu instead. What's the trick? I'm also starting a running list of all the words the spellcheck doesn't know. Is there a way to add to the words it should recognize? I've got these so far: - center - galvanized - caulking - regrading Last two, when annotating photos, could the arrow point insert more directly on the spot where the crosshairs are at? I've noticed it is always closer and sometimes overlaps what I'm pointing at. Have I asked that one before? :-\ And last but not least, in the address book the native right click menu (Copy-Paste-Cut) does not open in any of the fields. That would be convenient as I'm always updating or copying info from the address book. I really owe you some cookies of something Dom, I'm always trying to add to your workload. |

Hi Cameron,
I'll check out the caption issue. One a Mac you want to shift-right click to see the spell check. Click F7 to add words. I'm still playing around with a few different dictionaries. It's unbelievable how hard it is to find a good word list. I've never seen the arrow do anything but put it exactly where the cross hairs are. Can you get a screen shot of this for me? Your feedback is always great and appreciated Cameron. Cookies are always appreciated, muahaha. |
