I need the ability to run searches in HIP. For example, I would like to be able to select a realtor and create a report of all inspections I have done for that realtor. Oftentimes I want to know where, when, and for whom I did inspections for a particular buyers realtor. Does anyone have this need as well?

Hi Robert,
We have partnered and created a full integration with ISN at inspectionsupport.net to give you a full office solution rather than do a weak attempt at matching their features. This allows us to focus on making the best software possible. Many HIP users use ISN. |

Robert I am with you on searches however you will find that you can also print out the address book to a searchable list
by using the export button at bottom while still in the address book. Till you use ISN there are work arounds such as being sure to use key words you can search for in calendars and email contact lists . You could also use a PIM program. ISN looks like a good program if it becomes a lot to manage for you. Open integration makes HIP different as it is like adding apps to ease your work load. |

Thanks, Bob. I'm not looking to find a realtor in my I would like to do a search on a realtor's name to see a listing of all the home inspections I have done for them so I can be well informed when I speak with them. I know there are many ways to locate this information if I maintain a separate database from HIP. If this is not an issue for most inspectors then I can see that the time required to add it to the HIP software main not be justified. I appreciate everyone's comments. Thanks.

Perfectly understand where you are coming from.
I am making an email list and trying to get info on all the Agents ,who has referred me,how often, notes, areas ,etc. I printed out the format and do my search off that then transfer the information to my Google contacts which integrates with other software as well. Also can search the calendar and see how many times they referred me but putting it all together is not automatic within HIP. This may be why ISN was introduced. Since recall chek and ISN are integrated there will not be incentive to rush anything out in the way of an update from Dom I am sure. If you use the online storage service the agents name and email show up and you can count how many have been sent out to them. |
