I'm releasing 2.6.3 Beta to you. I've made added a few features and improved a few existing ones. I was going to add more before the next beta but decided this was stable enough to burn onto the CD's that I'll be handing out at the ITA conference in Vegas next week. Download it and check it out! Added into 2.6.3
New Feature: Text highlighted added. This allows you to have a color behind the text you add onto a picture when in edit picture mode.
New Feature: Multiline text added to photo editor. When adding text onto a photo, the text can now be broken up over multiple lines.
New Feature: Photo Overlay. Allows you to overlay one image over another. This is perfect for infrared imaging as you can crop a portion of an infrared image then overlay it onto a normal picture of the area of interest. Still needs adjustment for resizing image.
New Feature: Spellcheck added to the Add Text section when editing a photo.
New Feature: Added a new feature under Report Settings-> Options -> Item Options that allows you to set the default item separator for Damage Panels & Selection Panels when creating new items in the Template Editor for the template that's open.
New Feature: Added a new feature under Report Settings-> Options -> Item Options that allows you to reset the item separator for all Damage Panels or Selection Panels in the template that's open.
Design Change: Quality of text on an image has been improved.
Added into 2.6.1 (was never posted)
New Feature: If screen resolution has a height less than 600 pixels (for UMPC devices like the Samsung Q1), the Red/Black/Delete buttons have been brought closer together so they are all visible on the screen.
New Feature: Under Report Settings->Options->Security, added an option to turn PDF encryption on or off (highly recommended you leave it on so clients cannot edit reports).
New Feature: Confirmation windows pops up when you save a contact.
New Feature: Progress monitor lets you know the progress when uploading a report to the server.
Design Change: The right side of the Edit Template window now displays a Scroll bar if needed.
Design Change: Renamed Report Settings->Item Description to Report Settings->Item Name Format (i.e. Cabinets, Doors, Floors, etc).
Design Change: Extra line removed from the summary section when using the Bullet + New Line option.
Design Change: First item has a bullet in the summary when using the Bullet + New Line option.
Design Change: Rotate Counterclockwise has been removed to allow the photo editor to be smaller for low resolutions.
Design Change: Undo/Redo in photo editor have been put side by side to allow editor to shrink for low resolutions (used by small tablet/UMPC's like Samsung Q1)
Design Change: Entire photo editor scales for smaller screens so it fits in within the window.
Design Change: Client Information Panel will add scroll bars if the whole window can't fit on the screen (when computer resolution is set below 800x600).
Design Change: File Names are no longer allowed to have a double space in them. Adobe Acrobat has issues opening these files on some system.
Design Change: Open Inspection window prevents you from opening a file that doesn't exist (by just typing in a name), or opening a file not created from Home Inspector Pro.
Bug Fix: If there were multiple black items and only one red item, the red item would not start on a new line (when using bullets + new line or new line as the separator).
Bug Fix: Correction made for users whose username is more than one word
Bug Fix: Fixed issues when opening a template and inspection and Edit Tables was turned on. The first tab in each section would have the default description text and separator type
Bug Fix: On website under when viewing list of reports, the month was incorrect.
Bug Fix: Built in protection against an image being corrupt causing the inspection file to become corrupt as well when saving.
Bug Fix: You couldn't always batch add after reopening a saved inspection, now fixed.
