Hey wouldn't it be cool if we, collectively, could give money to Dom for the purchase of the best photo illustrations and then have him make them available to us either thru the HIP program or some other way? I have some illustrations that I purchased (not Carlson Dunlop), but I know that there are better ones out there. Just a thought.

I actually have an entire library that's been offered to us to include within Home Inspector Pro for $5/copy which I'm considering. My only problem with it is that it would greatly change the HIP download file size from 7-20 megs to well over a hundred. I need to figure out a good way to package them separately.

I do not understand need for a Library.
You can make your own from an actual picture or find them all over the internet by typing in a keyword and clicking images. |

I have a folder on my desktop that I keep maybe a dozen or two of commonly used diagrams. If I need one, I just add it after batch loading my inspection photos.

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.

Hi Dominic,
Since you already have permission could you offer to sell us the downloadable version of the illustrations for $5.00? (As long as we have a HIP License) That way we would have them available to plug in if we had a need for them. I agree that we can just use our own photos but every now and then it's nice to have an illustration to show a client how something should look or how it works. Just a thought. And a word of caution - if you are downloading photos from the internet make darn sure they are not copyrighted. Toby |
