That's a nice option, but you tricked me... ?
I thought you were making the photo insert page three across. I wondered about whether that would fit on small screens so I played around with it and made a small and large screen example. In the small screen I shortened the buttons to just "Insert", "Remove" and "Edit". ? I figure the twenty tabs across the top which all say "Photo" are clear enough. ? ? ? It seems that there is plenty of room to still see captions and sections. ? And this would cut down the number of photo tabs by 1/3. I also deleted the instructions across the top. HIP is user friendly enough without them and they could be re-inserted a hovering window which appears over certain buttons. Whadda ya think? ? eh? ? EHH? |

A lot of people use 7-10" screens, otherwise that would work.

Plus how will you have room for the convert caption to red comment button I keep begging for:)

Actually, what I would REALLY love to see would be a photo icon page, where all the photos could be freely re-arranged and double-clicked for edit on just one or two tabbed pages.

So no slotting on this screen? I plan on having rearranging done on the actual item pages where you see the photos now.

Yet another photo idea would be to be able to drag and drop pictures in to photo add slot rather than needing to click and browse.
Right now it is tough to add any way other way than "batch add" as there are no thumbs in the browser selection. You always need to open your picture files outside the program than memorize the DCM picture number unless renamed ahead of time of course but who does that since file name does not appear as a caption which would be another cool idea. File names appearing as a caption would be verrrrry nice. |
