HELP, has anyone else out there had a problem with disappearing batch of photos? Sometimes i open my work in progress report, and all the photos are gone,
at first i though i accidentally hit " clear all photos" but this has happened several times. Also, i was trying to batch add photos again and it kept freezing on me. why does this do this, i have virus scanned a bunch of times, and im clear now. I updated to latest java too. |

I have had problems with photos disappearing, but not a hole batch. Usually it was from transfering from one computer to another.
Try looking at the temp file in the home inspector pro program file. If they are there you can copy them. Did you lose the photos after batch adding or was it after editing the comments? |

After having so many viruses Joe it's very possible you have some corrupt files. Make sure to install the latest HIP and then unistall ALL copies of java (never unistall HIP) then reboot and reinstall.
We tracked David's main problem down to a bad ram stick if I remember right. There was also a bug a few versions ago that would lose the photos if a corrupt image was loaded but that should be all fixed now. |

Oh I forgot. Are you running windows 7 or vista? If so you can try restoring an earlier saved copy of the file.

weird tho, i have old java 12, and 16, and when i go to uninstall, it says path not there, even advanced uninstallers can do it-
Oh this may help. I had the javfa console option to NOT keep temporary files on my computer. So just in case i checked it and allowed it to use 337mb. MAYBE , and im guessing here, maybe that has something to do with it? |

That shouldn't have anything to do with it. Do you have the new version of Java installed now?
