Gee it won't select the comment for me?  :'(

I am saying that once you hit "add "it should not be needed to double click after the comment is already inserted into the red or black comments as that is not needed without the drop selection.
Considering I select over 300 comments on a report sometimes there is a lot of extra clicking eliminated if even that particular one is not needed.(just counted my tabs)

How should it be? I'm not understanding what you're saying. You have a comment on the left hand side that you've setup BEFORE your inspection with a narrative that includes a drop down box with 10 options. You start your inspection, single click this comment, click Black to move it to black and then you double click it to choose the drop down option you want. What am I getting wrong?

OK I see where you are confused or should I say me?

I was selecting drop phrase/word then selecting red or black afterwards.

Still would like to see a default word or phrase that would eliminate the extra click on a sentence that almost never needs change however my major point just disappeared.

Just remembered you were considering if it should be selected before or after when creating the update but I guess I was out voted.

Got it. It works much better to have it after so the original remains unchanged. It'll be even smoother when the box auto pops up as you move it (which will be coming up in a future update).

Now that this is out I am not sure of the best way to use it .
If any of you have been using it to improve your speed could you post some examples or a template to show how it has helped you?

I have used for 2 inspection so far. There are still some bugs being worked out at this time.

It has slowed me down somewhat, but once the bugs are corrected it should save time.

It helps to have the drop downs for areas like visibility, limitations, room locations. I also have boxes for water pressure, AC breaker, fuse ratings.

Also helpful for panels with lots of text. So drop downs for seldom used verbiage and components are beneficial like boilers, slate roofs.

I have a lot of verbiage in my roof drainage, so I made folders for gutters, downspouts.

The reason of my slow down is more of me editing my template, then with new features. I have changed my interior, baths and bedrooms and I am trying to get used to it.

I am with you and understand what you are saying for added taps and clicks. I try to limit the use of clicks/taps for my template. Speed is important in the field.

Once Dom sends me back my template. (There is an issue with a page) I would be glad to send to you. Do not want to send you a corrupt template

You can have more than one list in a line of verbiage. This can save on clicks/taps
