TOPIC: Home Inspector Pro 2.8.2 Released For Mac & Windows

I noticed today when working with my template that if you delete menus they still appear in the section colors and print orders. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this?

Dominic has a copy of my template and stated he would look at it later on when he gets home.

Fixed and uploaded 2.7.7.4 for Windows, the Mac version will be released tomorrow. Dave, I'm working on cleaning up the template you sent me.

Joining the party late but just downloaded the update finally.

My comments will be in regard to the drop downs as they are the added feature that effect me in using the program.
First thing I noticed off the bat is that once a drop is selected and moved to red/black comment area it stays in brackets and must be yet clicked again to set it as text to get rid of the HTML brackets.
This seems redundant and time consuming if using the drops for directional comments as simply typing the word left ,right,above ,below would take less time than all the clicking.
The drops seem great for long sentence alternatives however.
I would like to see the drop sentence converted to text immediately to save all that extra clicking (tapping for you tablet guys) though.

You're supposed to move the comment to black/red then double click on it

You have to select which comment in the drop down box you want. The program can't choose it for you. If you were editing a comment you'd still have to double click the comment to open the edit window, then type in your word. Now your double click, then single click the drop down, definitely less work.

In a future update it will be even less work as the plan is that comments with drop downs in them will automatically open up when you move them to black or red for you to choose the drop down selection, then click ok.
