TOPIC: Photos, slideshow and filesizes

Wow, good activity I split this into it's own thread as I'm trying to keep that master list thread purely one post per issue to be resolved. So make sure when you have an idea to post it there, and as a new thread so that it can be discussed.

As Ben stated, the film strips at the bottom of each section will eliminate any flipping back and forth. I've already started the development of this by adding a feature in the next version to simply click on a photo and see it enlarged.

I'm looking at adding options for 1-4 wide.

I can definitely add an option for saving the template. Remember that you can always restore a template from an inspection by opening up the inspection then clicking save template. That will give you the exact template you used for the inspection.

Mike, can you send me a copy of the pdf report that has photos with issues. I haven't seen any yet so I'll need to see examples. Send me the hzf file and a few of the original photos if you can. The photos are cropped and compressed. Right now a 1 mb photo (1024 kb) gets reduced to a 10kb-20kb photo so 1/50 to 1/100 it's original size. I spent several days last week rewriting the company logo feature so you get much higher resolution photos and I could use a similar algorithm as an option for photos to get better resolution.

Credit Card processing will be available to anyone using the report upload service or the website hosting service.

Wrong section, this was actually a discussion on Home Inspector Pro. Hopefully you got it working though from the discussion we had in chat (I'm assuming this was posted after).
