TOPIC: Upload Service - Report Viewing Notification - IMPORTANT

That is ok for logging the viewing, but what about printing.  I would like to know if, when and how many times they print the report.

Unfortunately there is no way to detect a pdf being printed. Anyone could save it to their own computer and print it as much as they want.

Looks good Dominic.  I like the idea of an attachment to the report as Russ has suggested. How would the credit card option work? I am using cc's now, just curious.  Thanks for all of your hard work!

The way the credit card option will work is when you are uploading the report from within the program, you'll check a box that says "client hasn't paid, collect fee online". When the client then goes to view the report, they will be alerted to the fact they haven't paid yet and then presented with a credit card payment page. The money would then go directly to your bank account and the report would be available for them to view. The agent obviously won't be able to view the report either. You will also be able to log in and change the report to paid manually in case you receive funds in some other way.

That does bring up an interesting question though. Should the Agent be offered the chance to pay as well? Or just told their client hasn't paid yet and the report will not be available until the time their account is current?

I would highly doubt that an agent will pay for their clients report! I think that only the client should pay, since our contract is with the client, not the agent.
