I am in the process of making a template and when i finished I started a sample report only to find out there were some inspection items that really did not need a selection panel or damage panel. I selected edit template and the inspection item that I wanted to edit, but the only options are ADD, REMOVE, MOVE UP, MOVE DOWN, MOVE/COPY So to remove the selection panel from these areas I ended up deleting the previous inspection item and recreating it, then had to reinput all of my narratives. An edit button that would allow you to add and remove panels from the current inspeciton item would be nice, although probably not excessivly used once you have your template the way you want it. |

You can only remove the whole thing as once the tab is created, it can't be edited. In the future, you have to create a new tab in Edit Template, go into the section itself, hit CTRL-A to select all the comments, click copy, go to the new tab, click on the area you want the narratives and click paste. Then you can go back to Edit Template and remove the original tab.
There's 2 animated tutorials on how to edit the template which is what you want to check out. |
