I can't seem to get suckerfish menus to work at all.
I get a little confused when i navigate all around between menus, content, blocks, etc... I'm trying to set different types of pulldowns all across the top of my site. If I get one, i think I can get others... I'd like to have a menu that unfolds and reveals links to various outside links: ASHI, NACHI, etc... I was then going to have other unfolding menus... not sure, but i'm thinking everything across the top will be links to resources. And then i'll have my within-site navigation all to the left as it's already set up for. So basically, can someone help me with a step-by-step walkthrough on how to set up some unfolding menus at the top with lists of links in them? Thanks |

1. Make sure under Theme->Configure you've checked the box to enable suckerfish menus.
2. Make sure the Primary menu block is in the Suckerfish slot 3. Add your submenu items to their parent, i.e. Add Associations as a menu then add ASHI, NACHI with Associations as their parent menu. Does that make sense? |

Sort of, but I still am doing something wrong. I feel like I did what you said and I ended up with the menu header (under primary) listing both above and below the "Primary" title. I DID get the dropdowns to work which is a plus. There is something I obviously am still doing wrong though.

I have two menus started that seem to basically be working right - check out my site.
However, I can't figure out whey I have double titles on both. Also, when I create a new menu, it defaults with a path field (with a required red asterisk) and i'd like it to create the type where only the title is required (i.e. the title of the column on the suckerfish)... THEN after that i'll create links and as I add menu items I want them to have the path where I can enter the link for the pulldown menu. Thanks |

Move that ASHI News to the bottom of your site. You don't want your future clients leaving your site right off the bat!
Under Menu->Settings I turned off your auto Primary Menu which was the 1st copy, the 2nd you added. There's no way to not link to a page in this version of the sites. Link to the first item in your list or to a page that explains to click on an item on the list. Ok, time for bed! I'm out. |
