TOPIC: Text Format Issue

Re: Text Format Issue 15 years 8 months ago #9301

Ok so delete in the source first. Do I need to know HTML to do the work in source? Ok I copied to notpad, deleted source then pasted. I chose my font, bolds and the rest and submitted half of the font changed to something else.

You don't need to know html to delete the source. You just delete everything there. Same thing when you're making blocks and pasting code from people (like the NACHI call now button), just click source and paste into the block.

Ok I copied to notpad, deleted source then pasted. I chose my font, bolds and the rest and submitted half of the font changed to something else. But, in my edit page it all looks good. HUH? I am trying to use Verdana font and I looked in source and it says verdana, I highlight and the font box says verdana, but that is not the verdana font showing up after I submit.

Does the format box need to be on any certain format? Am I the only one to have this much trouble?

I just looked in the editor. Half said Verdana, the other half didn't I selected the half that didn't, set to Verdana and it all looks good now.

One trick if you ever notice that it's not matching what it says, is to set it to another font, then back to what you want. The editor is trying it's best to interpret the code like the actual page will but it's not exact.

Why does it look good in the edit page, but when I save things change, sometimes it is the font and others it is font color, or it indents. Dom, I chose verdana, I even checked it in source, it all said verdana. Why would half not say it?

Ok Dom, My paragraph heading Why You Should Hire Me To Perform Your Home Inspection is in bold, verdana, in the editor. I went in and moved the line down by placing the curser next to the word why and hit enter twice. When I preview it or submit, it removed the bold and I think it changed the font. Take a look I will leave it as is.
