Don't believe him Mike. He is playing with your mind. He will continue to do it until you send him fresh baked cookies. Then, voila, everything will be fixed and working fine. Cookie Monster has nothing on Dom. |

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.

What kind of cookies? Chocolate chip, or cow chip?

Chocolate Chip only. I got 4 dozen from Jeffrey Jonas yesterday. His site works now... Oh wait, he doesn't have a site with us! Hmm, I'll need to change that!

O.K., maybe I need to get some cookies in the mail. I am having the same problem as Ian....I can not get the text format changes to hold....I have tried all the tricks, cut and paste into note pad, delete ALL HTML code in the source window, cut and paste back, change the format again and it don't work! I've even tried changing to another font size, color etc. then back to the one I want, nothing. In the editor it shows orange, i try to change it to black, and when i submit it it is blue???? Plus the font sizes vary throughout the text, I'm going crazy.
What is really frustrating is when I have a page the way I want it (or so I thought) and then try to go in and change something and the whole page format gets thrown out of whack. What gives? What am I missing? |

Bryan,
If you ever copied from another site or from word it'll throw the page off. You actually have to copy the entirfe text to notepad (which you tried) but also click the source button and delete everything you see, then click source again and paste back from notepad. I'm working on a new version of the editor that will handle things better from word and even within the editor itself which can still be an issue. For example lets say you highight text AND the space before the first word and changed the color. Then you delete the word. The problem then is that the color is still on the space and any word typed after it which throws things off. The new editor has some new features which should handle this better. |

Dom,
I am having the problem even with new pages when I type everything from scratch. Even if I cut all the text out, copy to note pad, click the source button and delete everything I see, then copy and paste back from notepad, I still have the issue of the first paragraph being formatted properly, but the paragraphs below remain in the default format. I have resorted to clicking on the source button, copying the format code at the beginning of the paragraph that is formatted the way I want, and then pasting it in front of the other paragraphs and deleting whatever code is already there. That seems to work for text size, font, etc., but I still can't change the text colors on some of the Headlines on some of the pages. I've also had some issues with spacing....either there is a space where I don't want one, or there is no space where I want on. Again, I try correcting this by hitting the source button and deleting or adding the space, but when I submit, no change. (by space I am referring to a blank line between paragraphs or headlines, etc.) |
