TOPIC: Copy site to site

Copy site to site 15 years 8 months ago #9246

I am bulding my new site and was wondering about copying and pasting from my exsisting site. I know that if I copy and paste the entire exsisting to the new I will hurt my rankings, seen as a copy cat site. But, there is info I want to include on the new site that is on the exsisiting site. How much can I use and not be seen as a copy cat by the search engines?

Try to make it so at least 40% (rough figure) of your content is original on each page.
