Can any of you give me some guidance on how to add Alt tags to photos and videos.

Right click on the image or video when in Edit Mode and click Image Properties. Then type in your Alt Text.

Use text that are keywords. If you have your business logo, use your city plus home inspector as alt text; i.e. "Chicago home inspector logo" without the quotes. An image of a roof can be "Chicago home inspection of roof". This will help with SEO.

Neil- I don't know how long or far you have gotten on building your site; but here are a few tips.

Remove the links to NACHI and Zillow from your site. You don't want people to leave your website, especially if the site they go to lists all your competitors. Copy the SOP on another page of your site and link to that, take the Zillow article and copy it to another page on your site, just be sure to attribute it to the author and website.

The alt tag for your logo should be Miami home inspector logo.

Remove the breast cancer awareness logo, unless you are donating money from inspections to the cause or you have a personal experience, which I would then suggest you create a page. Otherwise it is out of place.

Your content is too generic and needs to be original. Your included benefits page content should be on your home page so the client sees that first. it will get them to call you. Remember, don't give them all the info, just enough to get them to call you for details, then you can sell them on the phone.
