TOPIC: Editing Theme header

In theme 26 I am trying to remove the HIP guy logo and edit the font for the company name and slogan. I have tried toggling off the logo and uploading my own logo without success. I have made everything I want in a new block, but when the block is directed to Header it just appears beneath the preloaded theme header. so I would like to either remove all of the preloaded header and replace with my block of edit the preloaded header. Any help would be appreciate
