TOPIC: changed page title, now it's not found

changed page title, now it's not found 11 years 9 months ago #51923

I edited "Do you really want the cheapest inspection?" page on my website. I inserted "Home" before inspection. Now the page is not found. What did I do, or not do?

Click on CONTENT in the ADMIN MENU and find the page. Then find your page. Check the URL ALIAS and see if it matches up what you see when you click the page in your menu.

Thanks, Dom, I should have re-posted. I figured it out a little later. I had forgotten to change the  URL path to the new correct title.

Thanks!

I have another one, Dom. I have made a Referral rewards letter (copied from Russel Ray over on the InterNachi mb). I want to send my former client a link to the page, but the page is not accessible by the public. Not sure whether to enter it as "page" or "story".

My background (on theme 26) is dark green, so when I copy and paste my letter from my word doc, it will not show up. I tried highlighting the text in the body to white, which didn't look good either, and changing the background to white, and that didn't work.

Is there a way to make a page "white" within a dark background theme?

I will also be adding a page that has the certificate they can print, and will likely have the same issue.

On a different subject, I am considering changing themes. Will this affect my rankings with search engines, having to start over, like changing websites would?

It should just be a page.

Paste it with the Paste from Word button or it won't display properly.

You can insert a table and set a color on the table background.

No changing themes won't affect you (might be a tiny temp bounce).
