TOPIC: Site verification

When I click on the "site verification" link it says that my site is not verified. When I try to verify my site it asks for exact meta tags info and other info. Where might I find this info?

That's something that is used when you're trying to setup Google Webmaster tools or add yourself on other search engines. They will give you the meta tags that you need to add in.

When you set up my two newest sites I included the google analytics and thought it was all working.  Today, I can actually see the code on my first page (I had set it up in a block in the footer).

I'm also today trying to do a google verification (which isn't working), but one of my choices to verify was google analytics.  Not working.

Where should the analytics script go?  Where should the verification tag go?

No analytics script needed. Just enter your ID in your Analytics Admin menu.
