Correct. Unless you have a plugin added to your browser for GMail or whatever service you have email links A: Won't work at all, or B: Will open up outlook express which won't be able to send the email. This is a problem on the client side and a reason why we recommend contact forms. There is really nothing on the net that you can do about this.
