Hi Dominic,
First off: I want to let you know that the site HoustonThermalInspections.com is doing outstanding in the SERPs. Between it and the HomeCert site, Places page, Facebook, Youtube, etc. I pretty much own the first page of the Google results for the query "Houston Thermal Inspections" and rank at the top for many other relevant queries. Testament to how well the sites can perform with just a moderate amount of SEO. I recently created a vcard type QR Code and in the process discovered an anomaly with the urls on a smartphone browser (Android for me). Of course, I found this AFTER I sent things off to be printed. The issue occurs when using mixed case in the url. It only happens on the smartphone, not on my computer browsers. The URL HoustonThermalInspections.com (using mixed case) maps to my site fine in most browsers and displays an all lower case url in the address bar when the page returns. However, on my smartphone it returns a generic HIP template on the smartphone. The browser address bar continues to show a mixed case url. Is this something that can be corrected in the nameservers or with a redirect? I have mixed case urls published in a lot of places. Thanks Chuck |

Hey Chuck,
This is definitely not supposed to be the case, but nonetheless I see the same thing on my Evo (android). I'm looking into it more right now. |
