TOPIC: Down loading INTERNACHI goods and other stuff

Down loading INTERNACHI goods and other stuff 14 years 2 months ago #35275

I have a question. I am putting the web site together and wanted to add the INTERNACHI "code of ethics" I didn't see a spot for it. Do I need it? Would it look more pro. if I used it? Also I tried to log into the site to down load a sample report and it will not let me in, says that the e-mail address is allready registered. How do I get this done? Feels like a long way to go. Hi Clint,

Welcome to the message boards!

Which site were you logging into to download a Sample Report? You should be logging into your site to upload a sample report. Instructions are here for loading a sample report (and there's an animated tutorial): www.homeinspectorpro.com/inspector-forum...nd-other-documents./

To add the COE , you'll need to add a page. Watch the animated tutorial on how to add a new page or read here: www.homeinspectorpro.com/inspector-forum...w-To-Add-A-New-Page/ . You'll want to paste it into Notepad first to strip off the formatting.

Working on your own site will take a little getting used to, but as the guys on here can tell you, it's well worth it and you'll soon be flying along!

Hi Clint,

This is my personal feeling, so take it for what its worth. There are a few things out there that scream "NEWBIE" like listing the COE, saying you are insured, and saying that you report the "good" things along with the defects.

Things like the COE, my inspection agreement, standards of practice, and a few marketing pieces are always sent to the client in a confirmation email along with a few marketing documents. These same documents are also part of my report presentation binder for the client.

Having said that, NJ has their own SOP which we are required to make accessible to the client, so a web page is a good idea. I wouldn't even have that if I didn't have to.
