TOPIC: two part form

Re: two part form 14 years 5 months ago #33063

it doesnt save the entry.  is there a way to have the information from one form populate another form?  for example, if I make the first page an actual form, then when people hit submit, I will get that information.  then, they are taken to another form that has already filled in their name, phone, etc?  Then, if they decide not fill out all of the additional information, I still have it from the first form.  if they do decide to continue, they don't have to re-enter all of the info from the first form?  does that make sense?

You can add an IP field by setting a textfield to read only and a default value of %server[REMOTE_ADDR]
Put the IP on both forms and that way you can link to two forms together.
