TOPIC: Strange Code

I've been working in Firefox.  I checked my site in IE 8 and found a bunch of strange code.
Here it is:

Here was a blank space and then more code:

Any idea why this is there?

You're copying text from other sites or Word (more than likely Word). If you paste from Word you have to click on the Past from Word button on the top row of the editor to clean up the formatting code Word uses (it's not compatible with websites).
