Check out my site
www.righthomeinspections.com
and give me your feedback.
All I have left is to link to associations and fellow inspectors. My question is, should I get permission to link to other inspectors or just pick from the users here? How many? Is this for SEO? Is there any advantage to picking geographic areas? Am I thinking too hard? |

The importance is link SWAPPING. It's actually the linking to you that boosts your rank. You just link to them in exchange. Use the Link Exchange link on the home page of this site then post on the message boards in the SEO section - Link Exchange thread when you've posted to someone. Mark them off on the link exchange program when you've linked to them and when they've linked back to you.
There is so such thing as too many. You will be linking forever as if you ever stop your competition can get more links and pass you in rank. Add your website address to your signature, it will give you 56 links from our site! |

Do I need to put in all that data? Meta tags and all?

I started linking, figuring if I do 10 per day, that's enough time invested, about an hour. I noticed when I started looking at these sites, many don't link to others. Why would I want to link to them, and why are they listed on the link exchange if they don't utilize it?

A few are brand new sites. Skip them and go back to them later. Add meta tags if they list them so they'll return the favor.
