TOPIC: I might be slow, but getting there.

Re: I might be slow, but getting there. 14 years 11 months ago #25140

Hey Drew, I understood Dom to say go under Create Content and click on "page".
Your screen shot is not what I had.
What do you click on to see that page?

Snow started over here. How bad is it down your way? :)

and thanks

The rain was very heavy here and just ended.
The screen shot I showed you is just below the page editor. If you have created the page already, go to content, then open the page, and at the top of your page's text you will see an edit tab. Click on that tab and you will open the page editor. If you scroll down, you will see your theme's version of what I posted.
If it is starting to snow, today is a good day to work on your site!  :)

Marcel, the other thing if you have not yet created a page, go to "create content" in your admin menu. Below Create Content is where you create a "page". When you click "Page" you will come to a screen that says "Submit Page" as a title. You will see the page editor here. If you scroll down you will see the screen shot I sent you, but all of the menus will be collapsed. Click on the menus to expand them and you may start to recognize what I sent you.

If that is still confusing, post it and I will call you.

Drew

I cannot find the right page.

I have the Main page of the Website and the Left Column part of it with the menus

I want to add a What really matters menu or I would like to add Click to certify logo.

What do I do.

This is what I see;

News
Admin Menu
•Website Tutorials
•Website Message Boards
•Website Optimization Tips
•Site Information
•Blocks
•Comments
•Content
•Image Galleries
•Image Gallery Settings
•Link Categories
•Menus
•News Feeds
•URL Aliases
•Create Content
•Blog Entry
•Image
•Page
•Panel
•Poll
•Story
•Webform
•Link
•Themes
•Time Zone
•Site Logs
•Logout  Is that where I go? If not highlight which one.

Thanks completely lost with that one.  :)

Yes to add a new page go to Page where you highlighted. If you've already created the page you need to click on Content and find the page, edit it and add a menu title.

Well, I managed to get What Really Matters in there, went in black instead of red. but I'll figure it out somehow.
Can someone tell me how I would add the Click to Verify Logo in that left column in the empty space?
