TOPIC: Fixing tables

Fixing tables 16 years 8 months ago #570

Hi Dominic,

I want to use a couple of tables on my site and the columns need to be fixed width, how do I lock the width so that the text doesn't move the cell width?

Regards

Gerry

Hi Gerry,

Once you create the table you can right click on the table and click on Cell Properties or Row Properties or Table Properties and then enter the exact width in pixels or by percentage. Let me know if this works for you.

Is there a way to change the border color of the table? I know you can change the cell border color. I want to use a border of 5-8 and change the color, with the theme I am using the border blends into the background too much.

Yup, click on Source and look for the Table tag and change it to something like:

<TABLE BORDER=8 BORDERCOLOR=RED>
