TOPIC: Onsite tablet templates

I was hoping that someone could share examples of templates that they use for onsite writing on the tablet. I have an extensive template that I have used on the laptop for years. I would write the report when I got back to the office. I want to start doing more of the report onsite. Right now with my current template onsite I find that I am jumping back and forth with way to many clicks. I am going to start reorganizing my template for on site work. I am looking for tab structures that make that easier.

Room by Room / System hyrbrid's are the fastest on site. A pure System template will slow things down because of all the hopping around.

I sure with Dominic on this, but my experience is that the Client, and Realtors, like to see system summaries. I'd love to see HIP add a field in the template editor to allow us to assign a system category, then give us an option to summarize by system in the report settings. This way wet could design room by room templates to make the inspection flow, but report by system.

You can build them in tabs and them arrange them together when you generate the report. I do get what you mean. It would be great to just designate it as electrical and it all show up in a category. I really want a search function for the desktop version.

I haven't given this a lot of thought, but off the cuff I think I know what you mean Jason, but wouldn't this like exponentially increase the navigation required within the mobile app as you did the inspection?
