TOPIC: Template Comments once I generate report

Re: Template Comments once I generate report 9 years 1 month ago #62003

Something has to be going on with the software. Here is a picture from the same template generated from home inspector 3, you can see my documents clearly. In home inspector 4 the section is blank around the thank you section.

Domenic,

I have somewhat worked out what the problem is. I am using the Futura font through my report as it links in with my logo. I have changed the font style and it is now working. Could you please get the IT guys to have a look at what is going on with this font?

Thanks

Hi Sky,

It looks like the Futura font is not a TTF font so it's not guaranteed to work. There's not much we can do here as we have to make sure to use TTF fonts so they work with all PDF viewers. Did this font work for you before?

Hi Dominic,

It was working in my documents section but I must have not tested it within the other sections as it is not working.

It's alright, I'll make sure to change the font. I'm glad its been worked out.

Thanks for your help!

I would suggest testing the fonts and having the ones which don't work removed to prevent the confusion for the next person who changes to a font which does not work.

Just food for thought.

Cheers
