So what I am thinking is the same narrative in multiple locations that only shows up in one section of the report. The narrative will be the same in each section. Anything you add to the narrative in each section will be comma delineated at the main location you choose to have show in the report.

This way you can type locations or any other comments you want in the section you are inspecting at, but the narrative remains the same only the added info will be different.

So you're saying the only changes would be AFTER the actual narrative?

Yes. A narrative like this could be put in multiple locations, but would show up under receptacles in the electrical part of the report.

REVERSED POLARITY                               There was a receptacle(s) that had reversed polarity. You should have this corrected. LOCATION:

Any information you put after the narrative in the different parts of the report would be separated by a comma, and would end up looking like this in the report

REVERSED POLARITY                               There was a receptacle(s) that had reversed polarity. You should have this corrected. LOCATION: attic, crawlspace, left kitchen counter

"attic, crawlspace, left kitchen counter" would be what you would enter in the different parts of the report taking template.

You wouldn't do it with all your narratives but it would help with those items that you find all over the house.

Dom., Why can't you make it possible to add more than one captionattic caption kitchen etc?

Then we could have one narrative and just enter the location(s) with captions.

I'm not sure what you're asking for Tim. Can you expand with more details/examples?
