TOPIC: One-time-use comments

It would great if someone could tell me if I've got this right....

....One-time-use comments can only be "generated" using a damage panel (DP), right?

I mean, you can't make one-time-use comments using a selection panel (SP), right?

If one-time-use comments can only be made using a DP, and if I want to input something like the square footage of the house without pre-typing about 8000 "comments" just so I could choose the correct one with one click from an SP, I have to do it through a DP, but I just make sure I don't pull it over as "red" or else the home's square footage will show up in the summary, right?

Selection Panels are for materials, manufacturers, etc. Because of this they should rarely be a one time use comment. You're right with a damage panel, select the comment, move to red/black, double click and edit it on the RIGHT side of those buttons and it will only save with the inspection. Change it on the left side to make it a permanent change.
