TOPIC: Changing Default Color

How do I change the default color when I create new bedrooms and bathrooms on my report so that when I click "Generate Report" I don't have to go in and manually change EVERY single new room to the navy blue I want?

Hi Sheehan,

HIP just creates the new sections with the default black and then you can change them. Once you Save Template though those colors and sections will be there permanently on your next report. Are you adding new sections or copying existing ones? I could add a feature to copy the settings when copying a section.

Right now it is defaulting to a blue and I have to change it to a navy blue. They are all navy blue (the saved sections in the template) but when I add bedrooms and bathrooms by copying a standard bedroom and bathroom option on "Edit Template" it does not transfer over the color.

Okay. If you set the options as you want them under Report Settings->Formatting, including the border colors, header colors and other fonts and you click Reset then it will match all the items there with whatever you set under Report Settings->Formatting (which is for the cover page). I'll add copying the options with the section you're copying to the to-do list.
