TOPIC: More colors in the damage section

Does someone know how to add more colors to damage section? It is currently divided in two areas: red and black. Let's say I want to add two more: green and blue. How to do this?

You can only have 3 colors total. One for selection panels (normally for materials, manufacturers, maintenance tips) then the major/minor aka red/black. We had a franchise spend over $10,000 years ago and they found that anything over the 3 colors greatly decreased reviews of an inspection report as it complicated things for the reader who doesn't look at the reports all day. Because of this we designed the whole program around the quick and easy selection of the 3 colors. We've talked about still adding the ability to do more in the future but haven't settled on a way to do this while still keeping the software extremely easy to use.

Thank you, Dominic. My initial thought was to make similar categories that I had with InspectVue before, i.e. functional (black), defective (green), significantly deficient - unsafe (red) and require further evaluation (blue). But certainly it could be combined into two existing colors as well.

Yeah it can be hard when switching from another program as you're used to thinking in one way. One method of reporting I've seen quite a few guys do is add a word like SAFETY: or REVIEW: in front of certain narratives so they stand out but aren't separating things more.

Only thing I would change is allowing blue for links.
But I am used to HIP.

I totally agree with that. I just need to put aside time from all the other features to get it done!
