TOPIC: Template change question

I have a saved report that I use to start each report. It is set up with pre saved graphics and comments that I put in most reports.

My question is...If I add a caption or narrative and hit save template (default) while writing a report will it save all the comments I have already selected for the report I am writing?

Hope that makes sense. I usually just make of list of things I want to change or add to the template while I am writing a report.

I have been doing the same as you. If you save the template all the comments, selections would be saved but none of the illustrations.

I have a question for you. When you create the report do you transfer from computer to computer or do you complete on the same device?

I ask because it seems I am the only member that has photo issues.

I wish HIP had a feature that would automatically load illustrations to the section. (would save some time)Then I would not need to create a separate report as a template.

Thanks David, I thought that's what would happen. I use the same computer. I have about 20 graphics that I use regularly in the saved report, and the rest on my desktop if needed. I haven't had any issues with picture, but as I said I don't transfer between machines.

I have another question: Is there some way to copy items from a template and paste into another template, or paste into current report? I have started a report and have done a lot of work on it, before I realized I another another page with all of it's items. Is there some way I can save time? Need answer ASAP. Thanks

Highlight all the information you want to move, hit control-c, go to where you want the information, and hit control v
