Hi all,

OK, this is my new template that is partially the result of a conversion from 3D. I like a clean and simple report that is easy to read. Take a look and see what you think, it is a work in progress as I only converted to HIP from 3D about a week ago! ? ? Side Note: ? This is not a real inspection, so you might see some oddities like wood siding rotting on brick veneer. If you like, please feel free to use.
I have included a PDF so you can look before you download.

I added the TPZ file  (UPDATED FILE March 12, 2012)  Looks and works much better.....

Scott, I love the template, looks great! Welcome to the HIP group. I'm glad to have you a part of our community, officially!

If you get a chance, post the TPZ file in the Data folder. Otherwise guys can just open this via Open Inspection and then click Save Template (actually makes it easier as they can open that hzf from anywhere, hmmmmm!)

Welcome Scott.
Going to check out your template right now.

Interesting that I have been either taking your side or sparring with you (association stuff) for a while now but respect your dedication.

Hi Scott just took a fast look but did notice a few things.

The main thing that hit me was you have totally eliminated the material comments section (is that intentional)?
Second thing was that you are in a different area as EPDM and synthetic material such as the GoodYear stuff is somewhat seen on high rises in particular here in Chicago.

Perhaps the red/black only streamlines but it leaves out addition of certain tips you may wish to put in a section tab or definitions.(that is what I use blue comments for)

Will look back some more as the contrast from usual style jumps out at me.

Bob, Scott's template started as a conversion from 3D which doesn't create selection panels. He might want to add them as he goes along now, but that's why they're not there.

It is a work in progress, just like me!

OK, for the new kid on the block what is a "Selection Panel"?  Is this like a drop down section where you can select the type of roof material, etc?
