TOPIC: Spacing of comments in template.

I'm starting this is a new thread. It got tagged onto another thread about another issue earlier but ultimately never answered.

I'm reworking/modifying some of my templates. The issue that I'm running into is one of visibility of the comment, especially longer ones, in the selection or damage panels. Longer comments, more than six or eight words, get cut off and have a little.... at the end. This happens regardless of the available space on the screen. These truncated comments often only cover one third of the available width within the panel. Not only is this a huge waste of space, it makes using the template very difficult. In order to see what the comment says you either have to hover over it or click on it to bring it into the editor. This really slows down my ability to move through an inspection quickly when I'm doing this on one of my tablets. I will attach a screen clip to illustrate this problem so you can see what I mean. Dom had suggested that moving to another tab and then coming back would resolve the issue. I like to state that it does not resolve the issue. It's not a huge glitch but it is something that significantly slows down the inspection process. Any tool should
make the job easier not get in the way of doing so.

Dana, I think you missed the rest of the answer. Go to Report Settings->Options->Item Options and set your selection panels to 1 column wide, then click reset all panels. Make sure to save your template. Flipping between tabs will make the change take place now, otherwise restart the program.
