TOPIC: How do you use HIP ?

I voted to,  I think!!

I know this is an old post but I voted anyway.

I take 3 to 4 hours on site doing the inspection and explaining everything to my client.

I take photos which I take home and use as my notes.  I can't imagine doing the report onsite.  This would distract me from what my main focus is at that time (finding defects and communicating with my client).  Almost 4 years in this business.  I am very busy but have to work long hours.  The average inspection with drive time, photo summary with my client, and report writing at home takes me about 10 hrs. (not including meals and bathroom breaks).  I can't find ways to cut back either without compromising the quality.

I don't use the drop downs yet.  I tried a few month ago and had issues.  I haven't had time to try them again.

Anyone have suggestion for a different business to get into.  I would like to work 40 hours a week and make around 100 K.  ;D

I'd say there's a HUGE difference in these numbers today as this poll was long before HIP Mobile was released.

The questions which come to mind are:

What specifically were your issues with the drop down lists?
What amount of time does it take to actually produce the report?
Do you have a sample you could email and we could evaluate it as it relates to reducing your time?
Can you set aside two hours each week to work on improving your template?

Have you tried reporting onsite in any amount ever?
